Abstract

Full-Color-Emitting Upconversion Nanophosphors

In article number 2415687, Ho Seong Jang and co-workers develop RGB orthogonal upconversion luminescence-based full-color-emitting core@sextuple-shell (C@6S) upconversion nanophosphors (UCNPs) for 3D volumetric displays with high color reproducibility. These C@6S UCNPs emit RGB light, showing a wide color gamut of 94.2% of the National Television System Committee standard. Various color images are displayed from the transparent C@6S UCNP-polydimethylsiloxane composite.
