Abstract
Herein, we introduced a series of carbonohydrazonoyl dicyanide-linked indole carboxamide 1a-1c transporters. Detailed mechanistic insight into the transport manifested that superior transporter 1a facilitates the movement of Cl- and H+/Cl- in a non-specific manner via the carrier mode. Geometrical optimization with the [1a + Cl-] complex provided an understanding of the Cl- ion binding process with the receptor 1a.
