Abstract
Although the aggregates of Y6-type acceptors with long linear side-chains enhance the molecular stacking order, the conjugated backbones are enveloped by the side-chains. This hinders the formation of continuous conductive network in organic solar cells. In contrast, the use of branched side-chains mitigates this issue, strengthening electronic coupling between the backbones and thereby improving the electron mobility in Y6-type domains (e664).
