Moreover, CRISPR-Cas systems delivered via phages have shown success in selectively targeting antibiotic resistance genes and enhancing treatment effectiveness. Phage-based diagnostics are highly sensitive in detecting bacterial pathogens, offering significant benefits for human health and zoonotic disease surveillance.
