[Modeling care pathways for children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) and their families in CMPEAs].

Abstract

The sharp increase in activity at medical-psychological centers for children and adolescents, combined with the growing complexity of children's clinical situations, calls for a paradigm shift in practice at these facilities. The team at the Mérignac CMPEA at the Charles-Perrens Hospital in Bordeaux, which has integrated advanced nursing practice, is proposing to tackle this issue by providing a graduated response to the care needs of children with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families.
