HIIT presented advantages on cardiac function, deposition of collagen fibers, neovascularization, aging biomarkers and mitochondrial homeostasis. Only CMIT alleviated age-related cardiac hypertrophy. However, CMIT potentially exacerbated adverse cardiac electrical remodeling. Abstract
