The antimicrobial activity of the materials was determined using the inhibition zone method. Thermal stability of samples was evaluated through TGA; while, contact angles were measured to assess hydrophobicity. Abstract
The objective of this study was to develop water-based interior wall coatings with antimicrobial properties. Epoxy resin quaternary ammonium salts were synthesized and characterized using FTIR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. Various compositions of water-based interior coating materials were prepared.
