The common drawbacks of these composites, particularly their high water absorption and poor dimensional stability, are examined by conducting five different chemical treatments. The research evaluates how these treatments influence the hydrophilic properties of the fiber-reinforced composites (<em>FRC</em>). The study further explores the water absorption behavior and the kinetics of the diffusion mechanisms, with the goal of minimizing the moisture uptake and improving the dimensional stability of the composites. The mechanical properties, specifically tensile and flexural strengths, are also assessed in both the samples soaked in a pH 7 medium and in dry condition. Additionally, the study uses ABAQUS to validate the tensile and flexural strength of the treated composites, providing a deeper understanding of their mechanical performance.
