The relationship between adolescent psychological characteristics and internet gaming disorders: A cross-lagged panel network analysis

The results of the study found that “Compensatory online game use” at T1 was the strongest predictor of subsequent IGD at T2. In contrast, “Low self-control” in the T2 network is the symptom most likely to be influenced.
