The results showed that MMN predicted HRV, executive functions (updating and shifting), and self-control, whereas behavioral beat perception predicted executive functions (updating and shifting) and fluid intelligence. Furthermore, MMN predicted fluid intelligence and MPAI through the mediating effects of executive functions (updating and shifting) and self-control, respectively.
