Abstract
This article introduces the MENTOR framework, a novel approach to mentorship in nursing leadership. This innovative framework, which prioritizes practical skill development, application, and personalized support, is a departure from traditional mentorship. The MENTOR framework stands out for its emphasis on learner-oriented methods and altruistic values, fostering meaningful mentor–mentee relationships that enhance professional growth and prepare emerging leaders for complex challenges. By actively engaging the learner in the process, the MENTOR framework ensures that learning is not just passive but an active, engaging experience. Ultimately, the MENTOR framework serves as a roadmap for cultivating impactful practices supporting professional advancement and personal development for the modern nurse.
