Abstract

The Coldiron Senior Nurse Executive Leadership Program was launched in 2021 inspired by the vision of Marian K. Shaughnessy to empower nurse leaders at the top level of leadership roles to exceed beyond their current influence and positions and to move nurse executives beyond the traditional leadership roles. As of 2024 we have recruited four cohorts of Coldiron Fellows and track the progress of Fellows during and following the yearlong immersion program. Significant outcomes include leadership publications in Nurse Leader, Fellowships in the American Academy of Nursing, and key progression in leadership roles.
