For decades, lymphedema has been a global health issue affecting millions of people worldwide. Various innovative conservative and surgical therapies show promising outcomes, which provide hope in a condition once thought difficult to treat.
Since 2019, the purpose of the International Long Night of Lymphology Conference has been to challenge the status quo of the ongoing evolution of diagnosis and conservative and surgical therapy in lymphology. Our international lymphology conference in Vienna is the largest and most comprehensive in the German-speaking region. This meeting provides an environment to think out of the box, to share knowledge and experiences in interdisciplinary therapies and implement translational medicine to improve lymphedema patients’ quality of life.
The immense amount of knowledge evident at the conference has immeasurable value for the lymphedema community; thus, an annual reference work of this meeting will be a keystone for generations to come.
We would like to express our respect and deep gratitude to Juzo Academy under the guidance of Sonja Eham and Annabel Weiss, whose dedication and support have been essential to make this conference what it is today.
