Adaptation pathways, an approach for developing dynamic adaptive policymaking, are widely considered suitable for planning urban or regional climate change adaptation, but often lack integration of measures for disaster risk management. This article emphasizes the need to strengthen Adaptation Pathways by bringing together explicitly slow-onset impacts and sudden climate disasters within the framework of Resilience Pathways. Abstract
