Despite the administration of broad-spectrum systemic antibiotics, the treatment was ineffective in salvaging the animal's health. The isolated strain of <i>A. faecalis</i> demonstrated resistance to all tested antibiotics, underscoring the challenges associated with managing infections caused by this pathogen.
