Abstract

The results of research on the improvement of low-temperature plasma generators for surface treatment of wearing parts of technological equipment, as well as for modification of the surfaces of parts before the start of their operation, are presented. An analysis of the applied schemes of low-temperature plasma generators is carried out. Based on this analysis, the optimal scheme for the low-temperature plasma generators under consideration is selected and their main technical characteristics are presented. It has been established that, with a rational design and layout scheme and the correct choice of processing modes, the thermal efficiency of plasma processes increases with a simultaneous increase in the service life of the cathode of the low-temperature plasma generator. The results of this research made it possible to develop low-temperature plasma generators with an increased resource and improved energy characteristics for surface treatment of parts of technological equipment for beet sugar production.
