Using scanning electron microscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering, differences in the structure of interpolyelectrolyte complexes due to synthesis have been demonstrated. Abstract
The feasibility is considered of targeted production of interpolyelectrolyte complexes (IPECs) with an ordered supramolecular structure by polymerization in the composition of various polyelectrolyte–colloid complexes, direct mixing of polyelectrolytes in solution, and an interfacial reaction of polyelectrolytes. Using scanning electron microscopy and small-angle X-ray scattering, differences in the structure of interpolyelectrolyte complexes due to synthesis have been demonstrated.
