Abstract

Academic societies have a special responsibility in supporting the inclusivity of scientific communities. A survey of 224 Association for Tropical Biology and Conservation society members indicates that, while the society provides stronger support for equity and inclusion compared to workplaces, there is a need for continued promotion of diversity within the broader scientific community.

Abstract in Spanish is available with online material.
