Abstract

A systematic study of point proton radii along an isotopic chain provides insights into the impact of the extended neutron wavefunction on the protons. This work aims to measure the charge-changing cross section (σcc) for neutron-rich N23, marking the first determination of its point proton root mean square radius, as well as the σcc for N21,22 at beam energies around 250A MeV.
