Abstract

The authors retract the published paper “Chem. Mater. 2009, 21, 5892–5898. DOI: 10.1021/cm903108h” because, upon investigation by the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, crucial Electron Microscopy images were found to be manipulated, which undermines the main findings of the paper. Specifically, Figures 1c and 1d had false scale bars, which are significantly larger than reality. The original Article was published on November 4th, 2009 and was retracted on November 15, 2024. This article has not yet been cited by other publications.
