Abstract

Healthcare accounts for 8% of French carbon emissions. Diabetes is a disease involving the use of a large number of treatments and medical devices, and its prevalence is constantly increasing. Thanks to therapeutic patient education, nurses can help limit and manage waste. Communication tools using social marketing can contribute to behavioral change.
