Abstract

Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) derivatives have attracted tremendous attention in electromagnetic (EM) wave absorption owing to its unique properties in structural diversity, tailorable components and light weight. However, it fails to illustrate the decent EM attenuation performance for the inadequate heterostructures and multiple reflections. Here, 3D carbon skeleton (CS)/MOFs derivatives are prepared via in-situ growth and pyrolysis strategy which is based the chitosan derived CS and the MOFs of ZIF-8 and ZIF-67. In consequence, CS/ZIF-8 600℃ demonstrates the excellent EM absorption, whose minmum reflection loss is -41.85 dB with effective absorption bandwidth of 2.56 GHz. In addition, the CS/MOFs composites exhibit splendid corrosion resistance in the complex environments of neutral, acidic and alkaline.
