An exploratory factor analysis was conducted. Convergent validity and discriminant validity were assessed using bivariate correlations between the SCSES and other study variables, and internal consistency reliability was evaluated through examining an alpha coefficient. <b>Results:</b> A unidimensional factor structure explained 49.6% of the variance in self-efficacy.
