Logistic regression was used to identify factors influencing spontaneous clearance.</div></div><div><h3>Results</h3><div>Spontaneous clearance occurred in 23.9% (50/209) of the participants, typically with a median interval of 27 days. Significant factors included an interval &gt;45 days, an age &gt;35 years, the use of an intrauterine device (IUD), and the presence of clue cells.</div></div><div><h3>Conclusion</h3><div>Spontaneous clearance of <em>C. trachomatis</em> is significantly affected by age, the interval between two tests, IUD use, and the presence of clue cells. Abstract

Objectives

This study aimed to investigate the factors associated with the spontaneous clearance of Chlamydia trachomatis, a phenomenon that, despite a growing body of literature, remains understudied in the context of women in China.
