Abstract
A novel visible-light-induced multicomponent reaction of alkene with chloroform and quinoxalinone have been realized via a photocatalytic single electron transfer (SET). This protocol presents an efficient approach for the introduction of chloroalkyl motifs into N-heteroarenes. Meanwhile, this process features good functional group tolerance, and providing the corresponding products in moderate to good yields.
