Concerns about cannabis use in sober homes

Abstract

Researchers have found that abstinence-based policies in sober living homes should include a ban on cannabis use as well as alcohol and other drug use. The study was meant to look more closely at the evidence suggesting that cannabis may be “safer” than other drugs. However, cannabis legalization has put sober homes in a difficult position regarding cannabis use among residents.
