The Fear of COVID-19 Scale was developed to assess the degree of fear. This review summarizes and synthesizes the revised cross-cultural validation studies of the Revised Fear of COVID-19 Scale to explore the properties of the scale and fear characteristics among different populations. <b>Methods:</b> A systematic literature search was conducted on the electronic databases of PubMed and Scopus. The review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analysis framework. <b>Results:</b> The review demonstrated that the Revised Fear of COVID-19 Scale has robust psychometric properties and fear impacts mental health across all study populations.
