Abstract

Type I collagen was obtained in gel-like form by enzymatic-acidic extraction from cattle tail tendons and was polymerized at room temperature in ammonia vapor to form a transparent film 60.47–64.9 μm thick with good adhesive properties of 11.6–12.4 kPa and tensile strength 559.5–600.5 kPa. The dependence of the film adhesive properties on its ability to stimulate regenerative processes in tissues was found. The collagen was characterized by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
