Successful combined treatment with surgery and ALA-PDT for cutaneous infection by candida tropicalis: A case report and literature review

Abstract

Candidiasis is a common fungal infection, with Candida tropicalis infections being relatively rare. These infections develop into skin fungal infections under conditions such as broad-spectrum antibiotic use, diabetes, and immunosuppression.
