Pain, stiffness, and functionality were evaluated with the Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Arthritis Index (WOMAC) and the DII was calculated from the semi-quantitative food consumption frequency questionnaire (QFCFQ). For its analysis, linear regression was calculated.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>DII was significantly associated with pain (p = 0.001, R² = 0.118), functionality (p = 0.003, R² = 0.087) and WOMAC score (p = 0.001, R² = 0.099).
