T. Shatsky and V. N. Shatskaya on the aesthetic education of children and the possibility of interaction between family and school in the process of forming a child's personality. The chronological framework of the study covers the period of the first half of the 20th century. The article analyzes the pedagogical views of S. T. Shatsky and V. N. Shatskaya regarding the aesthetic education of children, the upbringing of their aesthetic feelings in the family and with the help of the family as an educational environment. The publication of this article is timed to coincide with the Year of the Family in 2024 in the Russian Federation. The novelty of the research lies in establishing the continuity of the ideas of S. T. Shatsky and V. N. Shatskaya on aesthetic education in the family, in clarifying a number of theses reflected in educational pedagogical literature and modern scientific publications regarding their content in the pedagogical heritage of S. T. Shatsky and V. N. Shatskaya as there is the need to improve the pedagogical culture of parents in order to aesthetic education in the family. As a result of the study, the continuity of the pedagogical ideas of S. T. Shatsky and V. N. Shatskaya was established: the relevance of the means and methods used by them to form children's ideas about the beautiful in the family and with the help of family members as a factor in strengthening and preserving traditional Russian values.","PeriodicalId":507532,"journal":{"name":"Pedagogy. Abstract
The purpose of the study is to identify the features of the pedagogical views of S. T. Shatsky and V. N.
