A curriculum that is suitable and covers the needs of educational institutions is needed to achieve good and effective learning goals. This research aims to understand the concept and application of the Islamic boarding school curriculum in PAI subjects at Alfa Ali Masykur Middle School, Wonosobo. The type of research used is qualitative using interview, observation and documentation methods as data collection techniques. The research results show that the implementation of the Islamic boarding school curriculum at Alfa Ali Masykur Wonosobo Middle School makes students not only excel in academics, but also have noble morals and a strong understanding of religion. The Islamic boarding school curriculum integrates the national curriculum with Islamic boarding school knowledge such as the Al-Qur'an, Hadith, Fiqh, Morals, and other Islamic sciences. Evaluation is carried out through written exams, religious practice, memorization, and attitude assessment. The role of teachers/clerics and kyai is very important in implementing the Islamic boarding school curriculum. This curriculum concept includes scientific integration, emphasis on memorization and understanding, varied learning methods, a conducive environment, moral and character development, and strengthening practical learning. The challenge faced is keeping up with the times and the lack of teaching staff.\nABSTRAKKurikulum dalam dunia pendidikan adalah rencana, tujuan, materi pembelajaran, dan cara mengajar yang digunakan sebagai pedoman oleh para pengajar. Kurikulum yang cocok dan mencakup kebutuhan lembaga pendidikan diperlukan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang baik dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami konsep dan penerapan kurikulum pesantren dalam mata pelajaran PAI di SMP Alfa Ali Masykur Wonosobo. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan kurikulum pesantren di SMP Alfa Ali Masykur Wonosobo membuat siswa tidak hanya unggul dalam akademik, tetapi juga memiliki akhlak mulia dan pemahaman agama yang kuat. Kurikulum pesantren mengintegrasikan kurikulum nasional dengan keilmuan kepesantrenan seperti Al-Qur'an, Hadits, Fiqh, Akhlak, dan ilmu-ilmu keislaman lainnya. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui ujian tertulis, praktik ibadah, hafalan, dan penilaian sikap. Peran guru/ustadz dan kyai sangat penting dalam implementasi kurikulum pesantren. Konsep kurikulum ini mencakup integrasi keilmuan, penekanan pada hafalan dan pemahaman, metode pembelajaran variatif, lingkungan yang kondusif, pembinaan akhlak dan karakter, serta penguatan pembelajaran praktik.
