Abstract
Tetrahydroxydiboron-mediated catalytic transfer hydrogenations have typically involved co-additives that, like tetrahydroxydiboron itself, are H atom donors. Herein we report an alkene transfer hydrogenation method with tetrahydroxydiboron as the sole source of H atoms.
