Abstract

The paper presents mathematical models and their implementation in C # language describing the phase transformations occurring in the process of austempered ductile iron (ADI) manufacture. The research includes two main stages: austenitization and isothermal holding at the bainitic range. The influence of free energy of austenite and ferrite on transformations was taken into account. Parameters of models were identified based on inverse analysis and experimental research. As part of the research, verification and validation of the developed models was carried out based on the results of experimental research.
