This case report discusses the complexity of management of psychosis in patients with Fahr syndrome emphasizing the delicate balance required to address both psychiatric and neurological symptoms. It underscores the need for a collaborative treatment approach. Furthermore, this case report explores the potential role for electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) in management of psychosis in Fahr syndrome, a topic for which there is limited existing literature.
