Abstract

In order to increase the noise immunity of data transmission systems, it is proposed to reduce the level of intersymbol interference by means of orthogonalizing the channel symbols. Orthogonalization is done through determining the orthogonality weight. Presented below is a calculation of the E-criterion for assessing the level of intersymbol interference for the proposed data transmission systems using the pulse-code modulation.
