Abstract
Enhancing the predictability of demonstrated digital movements when using clear aligners is essential for achieving successful clinical outcomes. Commonly, fixed appliances require clinical methods of customization of prescriptions or perceived forces to enhance the biomechanical system needed to achieve more predictable outcomes. This paper aims to delve into this rationale, and perhaps necessity, of considering an overcorrection approach toward digital treatment planning of various movements with Invisalign clear aligners. Furthermore, specific suggestions are provided to serve as guidelines for clinical considerations and perhaps future research purposes to facilitate the increased predictability of Invisalign clear aligner outcomes.
