Abstract
Testicular microcirculation is closely related to testicular diseases. In article number 20230093, the authors have non-invasively imaged human testicular microcirculation for the first time using ultrasound localization microscopy (ULM) with a regular frame-rate clinical ultrasound imaging system. Two distinct testicular vessels with an 81 µm separation were resolved in the testicular vasculature, surpassing all other imaging modalities. With the application of ULM, the authors have found that obstructive infertile patients were characterized by a larger mean vessel diameter and higher vascular density than the non-obstructive infertile patients.
