Abstract
The case of Mrs C. illustrates that esophoria discovered incidentally can reveal myopic overcorrection. The choice of orthoptic tests will make it possible to formally diagnosticate the accommodative process of her acquired esophoria. The CA/A ratio and refraction with fogging procedure were used to argue in favour of reducing the correction to improve the functional signs of Mrs C.
