Abstract
The article deals with the peculiarities of the artistic organization of autodocumentary writing in thediary prose of V.V. Rozanov «Solitaria» and «Fallen Leaves». The article reviews the genre definitions of Rozanov's prose which correlate with the concept of «other literature». The purpose of the analysis is to identify the
specifics of the subject organization of diary writing, which, along with genre markers, determines the artistic value of the documentary narrative in the texts under consideration. A holistic analysis of Rozanov's autodocumentary prose made it possible
to formulate some important features of the architectonics of «Solitaria» and «Fallen Leaves»: 1) the author of the self-documentary narrative is extralocated to his own
being in the way that is characteristic of the author's extralocation of a fictional text;
2) the «out-of-life narrative» in «Fallen Leaves» is naturally connected with the thematic contexts of death and dying; 3) this peculiar author's extralocation of the documentary writing in these texts explains many specific features of Rozanov's diary
prose, such as the semantic ambivalence of his statement, a special chronotope, and the specifics of addressing.
