The weddings they organize have distinct traditions compared to wedding ceremonies in China. These differences are explored and explained in this research. The focus of this study is on the wedding traditions of the Chinese community in Malang. It is a qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection was obtained through interviews with Chinese descendants living in Malang. The research findings indicate that the Chinese wedding traditions in Malang have undergone cultural acculturation.
