Abstract
Although there are numerous and effective biologics therapy used for the treatment of psoriasis, primary and secondary "non-responders" are becoming increasingly common, and not all patients achieve remission in the long term, which has a negative impact on quality of life. Identification of genetic markers associated with response to therapy using pharmacogenetic studies is a high current issue, as this presents new opportunities for personalized medicine and will identify genetic markers for each drug group. The purpose of this review is to examine and analyze the available pharmacogenetic studies that have identified genes and their polymorphisms associated with response to biologics therapy.
