Abstract

At the junior high school level several subjects are applied and taught to students and one of them is Natural Science. But in fact, Natural Science is one of my least favorite subjects, because of the abstractness and complexity of the material. This will cause students to have difficulty in understanding the material and learning Natural Science. For data collection, the instrument used is a quantitative method of distributing questionnaires. In this study, it can be concluded that comics can be a medium for learning Natural Sciences because they can convey material from text and illustrations. The results of this study can be an insight for designers or comic artists in making Natural Science Education comics and insight for the community, teachers, and parents of students that comics can be a medium for learning .
