Treatment and control of adults over 30 years of age with diabetes

Abstract

Objectives In this study, the factors influencing the treatment and control od diabetes in adults over 30 years od age were analyzed. Methods Using data from the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey 2013-2021, 6,925 people over the age od 30 eith diabetes were selected and analyzed for their influence on diabetes treatment and control. statistics were performed using SPSS 24.0 for frequency analysis and logistic regression. Results Education level, smoking, alcohol consumption, subjective health status, type of health insurance, heart disease, health checkup, and maternal family history influenced diabetes treatment, and subjective health status and BMI influenced control. Conclusions Based on the results od this study, it can be used a basis for indentifying factors influencing the treatment and control of diabetes and establishing policies and intervention program to increase the rate of diabetes treatment and control in the future.
