Estudo Prospectivo das Ferramentas no Combate as Fake News

Abstract

Fake News são informações falsas divulgadas entre a população como se fosse verdade. Assim, quem lê esse tipo de notícia é levado a acreditar no que está escrito, principalmente se a notícia trata de um tema favorável às crenças do leitor ou, ainda, se não tem uma posição formada acerca de determinado assunto. As notícias falsas podem ser criadas e divulgadas por diversos meios, como mídias sociais, sites e meios de comunicação tradicionais. O trabalho teve o objetivo de realizar um estudo prospectivo de soluções de inteligência artificial com potencial de utilização, e, para tanto, foram levantadas as patentes depositadas no Espacenet, INPI e o Orbit. Do ponto de vista metodológico, trata-se de uma pesquisa exploratória aplicada a uma revisão sistemática, pois busca reunir, avaliar e sintetizar evidências relevantes de estudos individuais sobre a Fake News de forma sistemática e transparente. A prospecção aponta para uma necessidade de maior ênfase em Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento no Brasil em relação a um tema estudado, destacando a Coreia do Sul como uma referência positiva na difusão dessas tecnologias. A existência de iniciativas governamentais no Brasil é um passo na direção certa, mas um compromisso contínuo e estratégico provavelmente será necessário para que o país alcance um desenvolvimento mais robusto nessa área. Thus, anyone who reads this type of news is led to believe what is written, especially if the news deals with a topic favorable to the reader's beliefs or, even, if they do not have a formed position on a certain subject. Fake news can be created and disseminated through various means, such as social media, websites and traditional media outlets. The aim of the work was to carry out a prospective study of artificial intelligence solutions with potential for use, and, to this end, patents filed with Espacenet, INPI and Orbit were raised. From a methodological point of view, this is exploratory research applied to a systematic review, as it seeks to gather, evaluate and synthesize relevant evidence from individual studies on Fake News in a systematic and transparent way. The prospection points to a need for greater emphasis on Research and Development in Brazil in relation to a topic studied, highlighting South Korea as a positive reference in the dissemination of these technologies. The existence of government initiatives in Brazil is a step in the right direction, but a continued and strategic commitment will likely be necessary for the country to achieve more robust development in this area.
