Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis keberhasilan daya tetas telur penyu hijau (Chelonia mydas) serta penyu sisik (Eretmochelys imbricata) di Pulau Mangkai Kabupaten Kepulauan Anambas. Penelitian dilakukan pada tahun 2022 di bagian utara (Pantai Empung) dan selatan Pulau Mangkai (Pantai Pantai Suit, Pantai Skanji dan Pantai Teluk Kado). Penelitian dilakukan dengan melakukan pengamatan pada kondisi pantai pendaratan, jumlah sarang, jumlah telur, probabilitas dan frekuensi penyu bertelur, persentase telur menetas, hatching success dan persentase tukik hidup dan rilis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua jenis penyu yaitu penyu hijau (Chelonia mydas) dan penyu sisik (Eretmochelys imbricata) yang melakukan pendaratan di Pulau Mangkai. Probabilitas penyu bertelur terjadi selama 8 bulan dan probabilitas tertinggi didapat pada bulan Juni (100 %). Terdapat 615 sarang semi alami dan 4 sarang alami, di mana jumlah sarang tertinggi berada pada bulan Juni dengan total 164 sarang dari jenis penyu hijau. Jumlah telur yang ditemukan sebanyak 55.916 butir dan total telur yang menetas sebanyak 48.864 telur penyu. Rata-rata persentase hatching success didapatkan sebesar 86.27%, rata-rata persentase tukik hidup dan rilis sebesar 99.2%. Total tukik hidup dan yang berhasil dirilis di Pulau Mangkai sebanyak 48.276 ekor.  Sea turtles are one of the protected biota species because they have a high level of endangerment from both natural and anthropogenic factors. Turtles spend their lives on the high seas and go ashore to lay their eggs every season. The success of hatching turtle eggs is essential to increase their population. This study analyzes the hatching success rates of green sea turtles (Chelonia mydas) and hawksbill sea turtles (Eretmochelys imbricata) on Mangkai Island, Anambas Islands Regency. The research was conducted in 2022 in the northern (Empung Beach) and southern parts of Mangkai Island (Suit Beach, Skanji Beach, and Teluk Kado Beach). The research was conducted by observing the conditions of the number of nests, the number of eggs, the probability and frequency of turtle laying eggs, the percentage of hatching eggs, hatching success, and the rate of live and released hatchlings. The results showed that two types of turtles, namely the green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas) and the hawksbill sea turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata), landed on Mangkai Island. The probability of laying eggs occurs for eight months, and the highest probability is obtained in June (100%). There were 615 semi-natural nests and 4 natural nests, where the highest number was in June, with a total of 164 nests of green sea turtles. The number of eggs found was 55,916, and 48,864 turtle eggs were hatched. The average percentage of hatching success was 86.27%, and the average percentage of live and released hatchlings was 99.2%.
