Abstract

Historical and cultural resources are formed over many years based on the region, possessing both regional symbolism and representativeness. This is closely tied to the identity of the local community and ultimately linked to urban competitiveness. While there is an increasing trend in discovering and utilizing regional historical and cultural resources for urban regeneration, there is limited research examining this from an urban planning perspective.
