Abstract
(Abstracted from Am J Obstet Gynecol 2023;228:22–35.e2)
Endometrial carcinoma (EC) can be suspected in cases of postmenopausal bleeding (PMB) with a thickened endometrium on transvaginal ultrasonography (TVS) examination. Typical guidelines recommend further investigation of PMB when the endometrial lining is greater than 4–5 mm, indicating an elevated risk of EC.
