During their development, minors are inspired by various social groups. The family and peer environment has the greatest influence. The message that reaches young people is to shape their attitudes towards the surrounding world. The article aims to indicate the role of the social environment in the process of becoming a criminal at a young age and to analyze the sources of threats that may exist in the family and in the environment of friends and contribute to the fact that young people commit crimes. The article will discuss educational measures thanks to which a young person has a better chance of getting rid of illegal behavior.
