Scientific and Methodological Approaches to Assessing the Competitiveness Potential of the Reclamation Industry

Abstract

The subject of the study was scientific and methodological approaches, methods and methodologies for assessing industry competitiveness. During the research, theoretical and logical methods, the method of system analysis, the method of generalization of research results were applied. Research results: scientific and methodological approaches to assessing the competitiveness of the reclamation industry of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation are systematized; advantages and disadvantages of approaches, methods and methodologies for assessing industry competitiveness in domestic and foreign studies are revealed; the features of the reclamation industry for assessing its competitiveness are determined; the analysis of the applicability of methods for assessing industry competitiveness for the reclamation industry of the agroindustrial complex of the Russian Federation is carried out. Scientific significance of the research results: scientific and methodological approaches for assessing the competitiveness of the reclamation industry of the agro-industrial complex of the Russian Federation have been identified, which allow developing a methodology for assessing the competitiveness potential of the reclamation industry based on the calculation of group indicators. Practical significance of the research results: the necessity of developing an original methodology for assessing the competitiveness potential of the reclamation industry, which allows comparing the efficiency of the reclamation industry in the regions of the Russian Federation and assessing the prospects for the development of reclamation, is substantiated.
